Spread over 12.35
acres, Shruti will be a Gated Community in the mould
of Project GEM Nirmaalayam. The project is expected
to be launched in November 2007, subject to obtaining
all statutory approvals from the authorities. Please
note that the details given below are only tentative
and may change in terms of the area/design/cost etc
since approval from the authorities is awaited.
Nature of Project:
RVS Shruti is a Group
Housing and a Joint Development Project between the
land owner Dr KV Kuppusamy, Chairman RVS Group, a well
known Group which runs a large number of educational
institutions like Schools, Colleges, Hospitals etc and
Covai Property Centre (I) Pvt Ltd, an ISO 9001:2000
Certified Company. Spread over 12.35 acres of land at
Kannampalayam, one km short of Sulur, a suburb of Coimbatore
on Trichy Road, the Project when completed will house
73 families in villas and 160 families in apartments.
Besides it will have complete basic infrastructure and
amenities as spelt out in the succeeding paragraphs.
Location
The location of RVS
Shruti is on the National High Way to Trichy, which
is now being converted into Four Lanes (work is under
progress). Connected to Coimbatore through the newly
constructed Road over Rail Bridge at Ondipudur, the
location is about 14 kms from the city of Coimbatore,
close to the Air Force Base at Sulur. It takes only
20 minutes to travel from Ramanathapuram Junction in
the city and the location is about 4 kms from the Coimbatore
By-Pass Road, which gives easy and fast access to Avinashi
Road and to Palakkad Road. The location gives multiple
options to reach Coimbatore Airport which is about 15
minutes drive from RVS Shruti.
Sulur has a large Air Force Base
and a number of educational institutions of RVS Group,
which include two schools, seven colleges including
Dental, Arts & Science, Polytechnic, Engineering,
Ayurveda, Sidha Medicine etc as well as Hospitals, clinics
etc. Sulur has all the facilities for shopping and restaurants.
The location is RVS Shruti
is in the midst of residential localities. There are
roads all around the perimeter of Shruti and plenty
of water is available. The Sulur Lake, which has boating
facilities is just one km from the location of RVS Shruti

Units:
- Villas: (Total
73 villas):
- Villas are of three types
named as A, B & C. While A, B & C are
North facing villas, A1, B1 and C 1 face South.
A Type is about 3000 sq ft, B is about 2500 sq
ft and C is about 2000 sq ft. While A&A1 will
have four Bedrooms, B, B1, C & C1 will have
three bedrooms each. The land area is about 3375
sq ft (7.75 cents), 3150 sq ft (7.23 cents) and
2700 sq ft (6.20 cents) for A, A1, B, B1, C &
C1 Type villas respectively.

- o These are also of two types
– A & B. There will be two Blocks each
for A & B Type, separated by a Garden area
in the Centre.
- o Type-A Apartment is a combination
of two and three bedrooms. While two bedroom apartments
will be around 1200 sq ft, the three bedrooms
will be around 1500 sq ft
- o Type B Apartments are of
only three bedrooms each and will measure about
1700 sq ft or so

- The Services for the entire
colony will be taken care of by Covai Property Management
Services (P) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary Company
of Covai Property Centre (I) Pvt Ltd. Monthly maintenance
charges will be payable by all residents. Details
later.
- Statutory Taxes & Registration
charges as well as electricity, water, sewage connection
charges will be additional
- Corpus Fund (Rs 30,000/-) will
be required to be paid at the time of Registration
